compassionate counselling for women ready to create real-life change

Hello

I support women with full, demanding lives to create clarity, balance and real change.

They are women who feel stretched between the competing demands of family, work and friendships, while also navigating significant life transitions—such as identity shifts, bereavement, new beginnings at work, perimenopause or menopause.

Many clients come to me because they want a supportive relationship that helps them both reflect deeply and work toward the changes they want to see in their life. Together, we look at what often goes unspoken, clarify what feels confusing or heavy, and uncover strengths and perspectives that can guide meaningful change. Exploring different parts of yourself without judgement can create greater confidence, direction and balance in your daily life.

I am a mental health counsellor based in South London, offering in-person sessions from therapy rooms near Clapham Junction, walk and talk sessions in local parks and online sessions for clients across the UK.

You’ve been carrying a lot.

Maybe you’ve lost someone important. Or maybe balancing work, family, and relationships feels heavier than ever.

The ways you used to cope aren’t working, and you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck.

You’ve been putting yourself last for too long. You want to feel closer to your child or partner, but connection can feel hard. You may be questioning who you are beneath all the roles and responsibilities.

You don’t have to do this alone. Support can help you reconnect with yourself, find clarity, and make meaningful, lasting change.

you’re there for everyone else, but inside, it feels like you’re falling apart

Counselling with Victoria

.

My style of counselling is reflective and compassionate. I hope to build your trust and confidence in our relationship, so that we can work together at a pace that suits you.

My aim is to help you feel comfortable exploring your inner thoughts and feelings by offering non-judgemental, confidential and gentle support. I respond to individual preferences for working and emotional needs to give a clear sense of direction.

Together, we dedicate time to untangle the emotions, make sense of relationships and develop a deeper understanding of you, so that you can move forward with confidence and calm. By uncovering insights we can identify and embrace changes.

I prioritise your sense of safety by underpinning our work with an ethical framework that focuses our time together on your goals and respects your autonomy.

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor based in South London and offer support to clients both online and in person.

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a Master’s degree in Psychology and am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have completed additional training in bereavement counselling, counselling for children and young people, and safeguarding vulnerable people.

Across my years of training and practice, I’ve supported young children, teenagers, young adults and adults at all life stages. This has given me a rich understanding of family relationships and how daily pressures, transitions and life events can shape the ways we cope and connect.

More recently, my work has involved supporting people with:

  • grief after the loss of a partner, parent, pet or friend

  • anxiety and feeling overwhelmed related to work or social pressures

  • relationship challenges within the family

  • low confidence and self-esteem

My approach is warm, collaborative and person-centred. I aim to help you make sense of your experience, strengthen your inner resources, and move toward greater clarity, confidence and direction in your life.
